OPERATIONS MANAGERS
  • A number of positions available 

Key Role: To assist the Lodge Manager in ensuring adherence to the set standard & Guest delight.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Implement systems and procedures to achieve higher cost efficiencies and standards of quality.
  • Managing employees, leading the way to create the ultimate guest experience.
  • Continuous standard and performance appraisals as well as innovation updates
  • Measure and monitor all parameters and attributes against pre-determined targets.
  • Ensure proper capturing of Guest preferences
  • Work in close coordination with the Lodge Manager in order to maximize operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure high standards of training to all employees.
     

Skills and experience required:

  • Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management
  • At least 4 to 5 years experience in hotel operations.
  • At least two years experience in handling profit centre.
  • Good trainer – positive attitude, energetic, proactive & flexible
  • Stress tolerant, tenacious, independent & Decisive
  • Good listening skills, creativity & Initiative
  • Imperative to have a passion for & good knowledge of food & Wine




LODGE MANAGERS

Key Role: To oversee all lodge operations and guide lodge staff to optimise revenues, profitability & growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and motivation to your team
  • Plan, forecast and budget the revenues and costs of the Lodge.
  • Administer all conservation & community efforts in the vicinity
  • Maintain excellent communication with guests, the community and the travel trade
  • Measure improvements in satisfaction ratings in all aspects.
  • Diplomatically and competently handle complaints, conflict and crisis management
  • Work closely with sales, marketing and finance within the lodge

 Skills & experience required:

  • Graduate Degree / Diploma
  • At least two years experience in managing a profit centre.
  • Good administrative skills
  • Caring, warm and pleasing personality with an enormous love for people - staff and guests.
  • Dynamic, flexible and calm personality
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • Stylish; loves the outdoors and the wild
  • Good communications skills




SENIOR / JUNIOR NATURALISTS

If you:

  • Have an abiding passion for wildlife and nature
  • Have excellent social, communication (English), leadership and teamwork skills
  • Are energetic, physically robust, disciplined and keen to learn.
  • Are comfortable with driving 4-wheelers and possess a valid driving license.

After a telephonic/personal interview, selected Naturalist applicants would undergo an intensive Selection Program for 5 weeks in the field, covering flora, fauna, birds, guiding techniques, driving, hospitality etc. Upon successful completion of the selection-training programme you would be offered a position of a Junior or Senior Naturalist depending upon your performance and aptitude.
